Rubyhouse School
Rubyhouse School is a Nursery and Primary School situated in a very conducive environment on the Lagos mainland, located at 8, Oredola Street, off Fola Agoro, Somolu in Lagos State, Nigeria. The school caters for children from the ages of 3 months - 11 years, providing care and education in a warm, safe and secure environment.
History of Rubyhouse School
The school started in August 2014 as a literacy centre in the home of the proprietor, Mrs Briwen. The centre catered for children with reading difficulties. It later grew to accommodate creche and after-school services.
In 2018 the vision of running as a full-fledged school became a reality when the school opened its gates to the first set of pupils on the 10th of September. The school started with eight pupils in the Pre-school, and the number had grown to thirteen by the close of first term. By the end of the 2018/ 2019 session, we had twenty-two pupils and we graduated two pupils - our first set of graduands - from Pre-school to Primary!
The Primary section started in 2019 with ten pupils. At the end of 2020/ 2021 we had about 50 pupils. God has increased us on every side and today, much thankfully we have over 100 pupils under our tutelage.
The Creche
The creche is of good standard, providing daycare services to children from the age of 3 to 18 months.
Pre-School
The Pre-School comprises Playgroups One and Two (18 months - 31/2 years); Lower Nursery (3 - 4 years) and Upper Nursery (4 - 5 years).
Primary School
The Primary School caters for children who have completed Nursery School and have attained the age of 5 years by September of the year of admission.
